Irrational shifting focus to Bioshock Vita following Infinite

Irrational Games’ Ken Levine has provided info on the upcoming Bioshock Vita game.

Speaking with Wired (via Shacknews), Levine explained how each of the Bioshock titles (Infinite, in particular) have been ‘all-consuming endeavors’ that require the full focus of the team before they move onto their next project.

In this case the next effort in line is Bioshock Vita, an in-development title that’s made very little noise since its original mentioned back at E3 2011.

"You do want to keep the ball rolling but it is tough to give it your full attention before you finish what you have,” Levine said. But we’re getting there with Infinite. We’re not as focused on the Vita game as we will be.”

Bioshock Infinite is set to launch this fall. Putting the pieces together from all that, it would appear the franchise’s debut on the Vita won’t be seeing the light of day anytime particularly soon.
