Joysticks set for TV debut

Now in its 24th year, the games awards event returns to the Park Lane Hilton on October 27th. Future is hopeful that last year’s total of almost 200,000 votes from consumers will be beaten.

"The Golden Joystick Awards are now in their 24th year and are the longest-running video games awards in the world," said event organiser James Ashton-Tyler. "Because they’re voted for by real gamers, they’ve always been the gongs that matter most and we are delighted that by screening the awards on ITV4, we’ll be able to bring them to an even wider audience."
