One of the most celebrated Xbox Live Arcade titles of 2010 is finally spreading its wings onto new platforms.
Developer Playdead has confirmed that puzzle platformer Limbo is due for a digital release on both PS3 and Steam.
Having previously said that the title wouldn't hit PS3 or PC "this time around", the studio's CEO Dino Patti told Joystiq: "This might be the second time around we have been waiting for. Limbo is in production for Steam and PSN, and is coming very soon."
The stylish title sees a nameless boy braving a dangerous monochrome land dubbed "the edge of hell" in an effort to rescue his sister.
The game has sold over half a million copies on XBL and was recently named as the 11th best selling game on the service. It carries a current Metacritic average of 90 per cent.
