Lionhead job ad smells of next-gen

It looks like it isn’t only Bethesda that is ramping up work on next-gen projects.

A job listing from Peter Molyneux’s Lionhead is seeking a lead engine programmer for an “unannounced title”.

The applicant must have experience with DirectX 11, which is not used in either Xbox 360 or PS3 but has been rumoured (and is to all intents a cert) for the next Xbox.

They must also have worked as a senior or lead programmer on a current-gen triple-A release.

MCV reported overnight that Fallout and Elder Scrolls dev Bethesda is looking to hire programmers for “an unannounced title on next-generation consoles”.

Vindication? Maybe back on track.
