Rockstar Games will launch the GTA III-era trilogy on the Mac App Store over the next three weeks.
Grand Theft Auto III, the first game from the previous generation of critically acclaimed crime sims, is available now. The game was originally released in 2001 and pioneered the action sandbox genre.
Rockstar's homage to the 1980s, GTA Vice City, will be released on August 25th. This will be followed by GTA: San Andreas on September 1st, which boasts the largest game world in a GTA game to date.
All three titles will cost $14.99, according to IGN.

People need to start taking Macs as a serious gaming platform. If I can run Portal 2 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood full specs on my iMac, then I would have no problems running other A-List titles if released on the platform.
