Rockstar Games has announced a special edition for Max Payne 3, which is now pre-ordering at the the big three - EB Games, GAME and JB HiFi.
While not normally known for extravagent limited or special editions (its last big one being Grand Theft Auto IV in 2008), the Max Payne 3 Special Edition will contain a 10" statue of Max (pictured) as well as art prints, a bullet keychain, soundtrack and the usual in-game miscellania.
In honour of the idea of making special editions genuinely limited, the Special Edition is on sale for pre-order from today until either 15th January or when stock runs out. It's clear the likelihood of there being any Special Editions floating around come launch day is zero.
The Max Payne 3 Special Edition is available for 360 and PS3 (AUD$149.95 or NZD$179.95) and PC (AUD$139.95 or NZD$169.95).
