MCV Awards 2016 Finalist Profiles: Sales Team

As we countdown to the MCV Awards 2016, which takes place in London on March 3rd, we profile each of the finalists for the Sales Team category

Activision

Delivered new top ten titles as well as continuing to drive strong all year round sales with franchises like Skylanders, World of Warcraft and Call of Duty.

Bethesda

Bethesda’s UK team grew in size during 2015: the launch of Fallout 4 saw it treble units of the previous title in the series, Fallout: New Vegas, while the Fallout 4 Collector’s Edition sold out.

Electronic Arts

Early planning and key retail events such as the Summer Showcase helped EA create stand-out launches for Rory McIIroy, FIFA 16 and Star Wars Battlefront.

Koch Media

Koch has a UK sales team of seven, covering national and independent retailers, managing its own and 3rd party lines, including Square Enix, Sega and Codemasters.

Ubisoft

Ubisoft’s eight-man team has enjoyed success in 2015, with the likes of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Rainbow 6 Siege sitting alongside the Just Dance 2016 and Grow Home.

WB Games

The WB Games UK sales team works across games, home video and digital, with a focus on in-store set up and display, training of store staff and general customer service.

Xbox

In 2015 the Xbox sales team built and tailored plans and offerings to ensure partners can stand out with bespoke deals and executions.

Nintendo

Held special retail events in 2015 to support the 30th anniversary of Mario and introduced a digital trading platform in all Smyths Toys stores.

PlayStation

2015 was a complex year for PlayStation 4, with a vast range of hardware SKUs, first and third party software releases and significant developments in the sales team’s approach to working with retail partners.

The MCV Awards 2016 takes place on March 3rd at the brand new Hilton Bankside Hotel in London,hosted by BBC funnyman Miles Jupp.

Tickets are available now. Platinum tables of ten cost 3,295, Gold tables are priced at 3,095 and Silver tables of ten are priced at 2,895. Individual tickets can be bought for 289. You can buy ticketshere.
