EA – Moore and Gibeau promoted

Peter Moore and Frank Gibeau have taken on new roles at Electronic Arts.

Moore (left) has left his role as head of EASports to become COOof EA. Before joining the firm, he was head of Xbox at Microsoft.

Gibeau (right) has been named president of all EALabels, which include EAGames, EA Sports, EAPlay and BioWare. He was previously head of the EAGames label only.

FREEFORM .LONDON – Zie heads up digital

The creative agency has appointed Jeff Zie as its new head of digital.

Zie previously built the BskyB interactive services division and launched the consumer online businesses for Emap and EA.

BASTION – Burns joins Bastion

Gary Burns has joined the PR agency as account manager.

He leaves his most recent position at Mischief, where he handled THQ, Sega and Square Enix products. He has also worked with clients such as BAFTA, UKIE and Codemasters, and is currently looking after 505 Games and its portfolio.

Specialising in video games was an easy decision,” said Burns. It’s always felt like a natural fit. I’m an avid gamer, have been since I was a kid, and can’t imagine anything I’d rather PR. I’m very happy to be joining Bastion. It’s great to be back working on specialist, trade and consumer campaigns for companies such as 505.”

LACE MAMBA – New product manager named

The publisher has hired Agnes Kwicien as product manager.

She has worked at Eidos, NCsoft and Triple-A Codes.
