Tyrrell heads up new Sony DADC team
Natasha Tyrrell (right) will rebuild Sony DADC’s supply chain following the fire that destroyed the company’s Enfield distribution centre.
She joins as general manager of distribution for Sony DADC UK and replaces DARREN HOUGHTON, who has relocated to Australia to become MD of Sony DADC there.
Tyrrell takes her new role following a stint at one of Sony DADC’s interim UK distribution facilities in Hoddesdon. Prior to that, she worked at Technicolor, where she held a number of senior roles including UK distribution services director.
With the events of last summer we needed a proven, hands-on performer to head our dedicated team and I’m pleased to announce our appointment of Natasha Tyrrell,” says VP of Sony DADC International Chris Reiser.
Natasha decided to join us before the fire happened and was then brought in at the heart of the disaster, earlier than planned. Instead of having time to get accustomed to her new role, she immediately engaged with customers and took charge of finding interim locations for our distribution operations and re-establishing services levels.”
Tyrrell adds: I am more than excited to join this team and delighted at how quickly we were able to get back to business as usual after the fire. Our customers have been very supportive and understanding during the past months. I cannot thank them enough.”
