A partnership has been signed between this year’s E3 video game trade show and MCV.
The agreement is part of E3’s ever-growing reach, with its aim being to attract more accredited retailers and media from outside the US.
The show returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center and surrounding sites in six months’ time.
E3 2013 dates are Tuesday June 11th to Thursday June 13th.
“Across our different formats, MCV attracts a combined professional and elite gamer readership of over 300,000 a month. We are the perfect partner for E3 and very proud to be on board,” said Intent Media boss and MCV publisher Stuart Dinsey.
MCV will publish a special E3 edition dated Friday June 7th that will boast additional editorial and increased distribution in both entrances to the main show halls. There will also be extended daily show news at www.mcvuk.com.
Thousands of industry professionals are expected to convene at the trade show to see the latest games, to try new hardware – and do business.
E3 is known as the world’s leading event for announcing and demonstrating the latest in computer and video games and technology.
More than 250 new products were debuted and thousands more were showcased at E3 last year.
The show also identifies approaching industry trends across console, PC, mobile, social and 3D.
