Page views jumped up to a whopping 659,994 from August’s 403,334 – whilst unique visitors also grew, up by over 22,000 in the month to 210,086.

The stats, taken from Google Analytics, also show that the site served 296,496 sessions during September, another leap on the 262,208 reported in August.

The continued growth in online readership is down to high quality daily content that informs and involves our trade community,” commented MCV publisher and Intent Media managing director Stuart Dinsey.

MCV is at the heart of retail, distribution, publishing and media. Alongside our sister sites Develop and CasualGaming.Biz, MCV offers essential, targeted business information to help decision makers, buyers and recruiters within a total interactive entertainment business worth 3 billion in the UK alone.”

We have invested significantly in online and continue to do so. A refresh for the site is coming soon. This will further increase our readership and our influence at trade level. Importantly, the MCV site complements our weekly trade publication, industry networking events and mobile news strategy.

If you are in the UK or European games industry, or need to know what is going on here, MCV is by far and away the online and print leader.

Whatever information you need about the business, however you want to receive it, however you want to engage with the rest of the industry, Intent Media’s portfolio of MCV, Develop and CasualGaming.Biz can deliver.
