The Australian Classification Board has refused classification to Mortal Kombat: Game of the Year Edition for Playstation Vita, following on from the home console game being similarly prevented from sale in Australia last year.
JB Hi-Fi is the standout retail success story in Australian / New Zealand retail, with Macquarie Group investing in the company to the tune of 5 per cent after it opens its 160th store.

EA mobile developer Firemint has announced the successor to its mega-hit iOS game Flight Control, taking things intergalactic next with Flight Control Rocket.
