Mecha Mocha selected for Chartboost mentoring program

Indie start-up Mech Mocha has been selected for the Chartboost University, a US-based education program for budding game developers.

The all-expenses-paid scholarship will give Mech Mocha the opportunity to learn from top mobile game developers through one-on-one mentoring sessions and lectures.

Mech Mocha is the brainchild of IIITM Gwalior alumni Arpita Kapoor and Mohit Rangaraju, and the studio’s first game – casual endless arcade game Puppet Punch, has been selected for the Indie Prize Showcase at Casual Connect Amsterdam, which gets underway today.

The studio also recently raised funding through various investors, including the CIIE (Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship) and a group of angel investors, Techcircle reports.

Mech Mocha is currently in talks with various publishers as it prepares the launch of its debut title.
