The upcoming Metal Gear collection has finally been given an Australian / New Zealand release date - it'll be available on 2nd February 2012.
The pack goes right back to where the franchise first started with the now 20-year-old original Metal Gear and its sequel Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
From there, the rest is history, as fans of the classics (and those of us trying to figure out just what on Earth was going on in Metal Gear Solid 4) can revisit the entire saga from the beginning in full HD.
Konami are describing the pack as 'a stunning celebration of one of one of gaming's true giants', and note the interlinked storylines as a key reason to bring the franchise up to date in one easy pack.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be available on 360 and PS3.
