Microsoft appoints new Australian retail sales and marketing lead

Andy Coughlin has been announced as the new Retail Sales and Marketing Lead for all retail-sold Microsoft products throughout Australia.

Coughlin will be reporting directly to David McLean, Consumer Channels Group Lead at Microsoft Australia, and moves to the role after 10 years experience at Microsoft. His most recent role was as the Retail Sales and Marketing Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand.

McLean said: "Andy has a deep understanding of Microsoft and all retail disciplines and will continue to be instrumental to the success of the Retail Sales and Marketing business in Australia."

"He is incredibly passionate and is admired by his team for his strong leadership, enthusiasm and expertise."

Coughlin added: "Microsoft’s retail business is in an incredibly exciting place, with more focus than ever before on the consumer, new technologies and their personal experiences across retail."

"I am thrilled to be leading such a strong team of individuals who are equally passionate about the future of technology, innovation and retail in Australia."

This announcement is followed by the news that Clinton Ledden is moving into the role of Head of Retail Sales.
