The new package, which includes free shipping, faster repair and an improved warranty period, has been revealed on the platform holder’s official international website.
It reads: “We are committed to delivering an improved Xbox customer service experience for our Xbox 360 console customers, one that is faster, more efficient and includes shipping free of any charge.
“From our customer service representatives to our executive team, the entire Xbox team has made delivering on this commitment a top priority.”
The company also promises an increase in its roster of “care representatives” and a new disc replacement service for first-party titles, although this is only a temporary measure.
There is no word on whether Microsoft will offer a similar support programme to European gamers in future.
