Microsoft unveils new Kinect for Windows

Microsoft has revealed what its new Kinect for Windows looks like… and it looks exactly the same as the Xbox One version.

Well, actually, it is sightly different. The shiny Xbox logo has been replaced with a basic light dot.

And it says the word ‘Kinect’ on the top.

The device requires some additional components, primarily a powersuply and a hub. The hub allows three connections: the sensor, a USB connection to the PC and power.

There’s still no word on when Kinect for Windows V2 will be released.
