A new piece of software will give players a huge amount of control over how they share their games with viewers online.
An in-built program called Upload Studio will at the touch of a button allow players to curate, edit and share their gameplay footage. And as the console is always recording what you play, your most recent antics are always at hand.
Furthermore, recordings can be personalised via voice commentary recorded by Kinect after the event. Custom skins can also be added.
Furthermore, a simple vocal prompt to Kinect can bring up the integrated Twitch interface and players can automatically begin streaming their current game session. They will also have the option of broadcasting whatever is being said in the room over Kinect.
Microsoft also confirmed its intention to drop Microsoft Points and instead allow players to purchase content using their local currency.
Also confirmed was Xbox Live Gold Sharing which allows any members of the household to play online multiplayer on a user’s machine, even if they are not logged in.
