Minecraft available now on PS4, on Xbox One this Friday

PS4 owners are now able to download Minecraft.

As suggested yesterday, the game is now available to buy on PSN for 15.99, with those who already own it on PS3 able to upgrade for 3.99.

Microsoft has already confirmed that the game will be released at the same price on Xbox One this Friday.

The PlayStation Vita version of the title is apparently still being worked on but shouldn’t be too far off.

This means that as of this Friday Minecraft will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, iOS and Android. As of June the game had sold around 54m copies across all platforms.

It’s unclear when the boxed version of the game on PS4 and Xbox One will arrive at retail.

Last week it was revealed that BBC Worldwide had teamed up with Microsoft to bring Doctor Who content to the Xbox 360 version.
