Microsoft is set to announce launch details for the much anticipated Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft sometime later today.
Play XBLA is currently running a countdown, stating it will be the first outlet with news of the release date along with other new info for the console port.
It was previously revealed that that the title will be available through Xbox Live Arcade, and that it’ll carry both Xbox Live and Kinect functionality. Custom Minecraft-themed Xbox 360 consoles were also mentioned.
The PC version of Minecraft has currently sold over 5.3m copies, and boasts nearly 25m registered users.
