Mojang Specifications has won an interim injunction in its court battle with Bethesda over its upcoming title Scrolls.
“We won the interim injunction! We can keep using the name ‘Scrolls’,” said Markus ‘notch’ Persson on twitter. “ZeniMax/Bethesda can still appeal the ruling, but I'm very happy.”
The court’s overall assessment “does not consider there to be shown probable grounds for trademark infringement”, given the confusion between the two titles “is relatively low”.
