Its Western impact may remain limited for the time being, but Monster Hunter is one of gaming’s key franchises in Japan – and hot on the heels of the brand’s Wii debut last year the series is now heading to Xbox 360.
Capcom has confirmed that it is to port MMO title Monster Hunter: Frontier to Xbox 360 in Japan. The game is already available for PS2 and PC in the region. It’s on track for an arrival this summer.
There’s still no word on whether the game will be making the trip across the globe to American and European markets.
What is confirmed, however, is a US, UK and European release for Wii title Monster Hunter Tri, which will hit retail some time this April.
