"Being based in Geneva provides our company with numerous advantages such as the close proximity to the expanding markets in Eastern Europe," international managing director James Ellingford told MCV.
"Geneva will also provide us with a more neutral point of view. I believe that international HQs should not be based in the larger markets as this can potentially impact the decision making process."
The move comes at a time when increased pressure is being put on the UK Government to show its support of the games industry, but Ellingford is not impressed: "Switzerland's proactive, transparent Government provides for closer relationships between business and Government departments.”
Take Two expects to employ around 60 people in its new Swiss base.
