MotoGP given pole position at Silverstone

Capcom is targeting thousands of F1 fans as part of a new marketing drive for MotoGP 10/11.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 motorcycle racing game – released last month – will be showcased at the Formula One VIP Paddock area at the British Grand Prix. This runs from Friday, July 8th to Sunday, July 10th at Silverstone.

The game will also be playable at the 2011 MotoGP which takes place at Silverstone from Friday, June 10th to Sunday, June 12th.

Capcom’s UK product and community manager Karl Reader told MCV: Attendance across the F1 race weekend is anticipated to be around 145,000 and we would like to attract around ten to 15 per cent of those.”
