New E3 details revealed

In a report by the Wall Street Journal, Lowenstein confirmed the new streamlined event’s working title as ‘E3 media festival’, and that it will have a hugely reduced target number of delegates, as low as 5,000. When compared with this year’s 60,000, it is clear that the sprawling extravaganza of the past is long gone.

It will also move from its traditional May spot to July, and will ditch the cavernous LA Convention Center for the more sedate surroundings of suites and conference rooms in two LA hotels.
