The firm says it hopes the appointment will aid its continued expansion into the Western market.
“As we look to expand our North American marketshare, Andrew will be instrumental in leading our efforts to achieve this goal by driving our consumer marketing and sales campaigns as well as our corporate visibility,” Namco Bandai America’s CEO Genichi Ito stated.
In other news, the company has also confirmed that upcoming next-gen beat ‘em up Soul Calibur IV will boast online multiplayer – which is quite a rarity for 3D fighters.
The firm says that the modern next-gen architecture of consoles such as PS3 and Xbox 360 has made this possible for the first time.
