New Halo toys this autumn

Kid’s brand MEGA Bloks will this autumn release a new line of collectible Halo vehicles that it hopes will tie in to the building hype surrounding Microsoft’s upcoming Halo: Reach.

The range is the only officially licensed construction toy series based on Halo and is designed both for play and to be used as display models thanks to the high level of authenticity.

The range will include the likes of the UNSC M12A1 Rocket Warthog, the Halo Combat Unit 4 pack that includes additional weapons for troops, UNSC Flame Marines, a 221 piece Covenant Arbiter, UNSC Mongoose, UNSC Arctic Wolverine, Covenant Wraith, the flying UNSC Shortsword and UNSC Pelican Dropship.

Each set includes between 65 and 900 pieces. A Collector’s Case will also be available. A marketing campaign will accompany the launches.

Indicative of the record breaking worldwide popularity of the Halo brand, retailers have seen a huge increase in sales of Halo merchandise and with a growing fan base of millions of Halo gamers, these newest additions to the MEGA Bloks range are guaranteed to be a success,” the press release reads.
