A new online store has launched, and it believes it can be a major presence on social media.
2Game.com sells games for all major formats, and the retailer aims to create a community rather than just a customer base.
“Having experience within the social media sphere and a real passion for gaming, it made sense to us to marry our knowledge base together and create something that we feel hasn’t been touched upon in online retail,” said 2Game director Andrew Judge.
“We think due to our interaction with our subscribers and customers that we’re unique. Our aim is to create a social shopping experience. Our research tells us that people who are happy with price, transaction and interaction go on to tell their friends, which is the kind of gaming network that we’re looking to create.”
2Game.com is now live, and the team is working hard to promote the site and its social media channels.
“To celebrate our launch, we’re focusing in on our new customers,” he said. “We have competitions running on our social media pages. We’ve also collaborated with SB.TV, the UK’s leading online youth broadcaster on a few competitions.”
