New Tesco games boss appointed

Tesco has appointed Nick Cooke as the supermarket’s new head of games.

He replaces former games boss Sarah Kaye who has left the retail giant for family reasons.

Cooke (pictured) has been at Tesco for six years and has held several buying and commercial roles within the company’s toys category, focusing primarily on the boys’ toys areas and with particular involvement in licensing for Tesco.

Prior to joining Tesco, Cooke had worked for seven years at Toys R Us, which included a three year stint at its US office in New York.

Cooke will report to head of entertainment Rob Salter.
