New titles step up Warners Euro assault

Warner Bros has revealed the first of several new titles to hit retail in the UK, having set up its London office last month, as previously

revealed by MCV.

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment plans to release Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal on 360, Wii and PS2 this Autumn, with Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck hitting DS around the same time.

We are intensifying our expansion in videogame publishing with a strong commitment to growth in the European market,” said president of the Warner Bros. Entertainment Group Kevin Tsujihara in a statement today. With a range of products for every platform, we will reach multiple gaming audiences with our own internally produced games as well as several partner companies’ games.”

Ron Scott, senior vice president of worldwide sales and distribution added: Utilising the largest worldwide entertainment distribution, marketing, sales and research infrastructure, WBIE is making strides to get quality games to the consumers in Europe.”
