New Warcraft game dated

Activision-Blizzard has confirmed to MCV that long-awaited World Of Warcraft expansion, Wrath Of The Lich King, will be released in North America and Europe on November 13th.

The game will also be unleashed in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia on the same date.

The title will hit stores in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand a day later, whilst consumers in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau will be able to buy the title on November 18.

We’re looking forward to launching Wrath of the Lich King and finally giving World of Warcraft players a chance to take on Arthas and his minions,” said CEO of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Morhaime.

Until then, we’ll continue to refine and playtest the expansion content to make sure it provides a highly polished and entertaining experience.”

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King sends players to the continent of Northrend, where they do battle with the Lich King Arthas Menethil, last seen in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
