NFS to break charts record?

Need for Speed: Most Wanted, The Sims 2, Pro Evolution Soccer 5 and FIFA ’06 all continued to dominate at the top of the ELSPA All Formats charts this week, claiming the top four spots for the second consecutive week.

EA releases The Sims 2 and FIFA ’06 retain their number two and four spots respectively, the giant publisher’s top five monopoly only broken by Konami’s consistent big seller Pro Evolution Soccer 5, which claims the third spot for the second week running.

Meanwhile the advent of the Six Nations has boosted EA’s Rugby ’06 and Ubisoft’s Rugby Challenge 2006 to number five and seven respectively, as chart stalwart King Kong (Ubisoft) drops one place to number six and Rockstar’s GTA: Liberty City Stories holds on to the number eight spot for the third week running.

LucasArts’ Star Wars Battlefront II climbs one spot to nine, and Nintendo’s DS exclusive Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time makes a strong debut this week at number ten.
