NHL Supercard launches on iOS and Android

2K Games has announced a follow-up to its free-to-play mobile trading card game property Supercard, launching NHL Supercard for iOS and Android platforms.

The hockey game features more than 450 cards, which can be trained in playmaking, stick handling, focus, and skating. Players can participate in quick games to earn roster additions, Season Mode for a week-long simulation, and Rivals Clash to compete against rival players for rewards.

The release is 2K’s second Supercard title, followingWWE Supercard’s debutearlier this year. The game has beendownloaded 1.5m times, as of August.

Both Supercard games are free to download, but contain microtransactions in the form of real money purchases for unlockable card packs and in-game currency.
