Nintendo confirms US release schedule

Nintendo of America has outlined its release plans for the next six months in North America, and amongst the named titles are a number of big-hitting games.

First-party highlights from the Wii release schedule include current European release Endless Ocean on Jan 21st, Super Smash Bros Brawl on March 9th, Mario Kart Wii in the Spring and Wii Fit in Q2.

Points of interest in the third-party Wii schedule include Namco Bandai’s One Piece: Unlimited Adventure on January 22nd, Hudson’s Bomberman Land on January 29th and No More Heroes, which is being published by Ubisoft in the US, some time in January.

Titles arriving later in the year include Square Enix’s The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors on February 26th, Capcom’s Okami and Koei’s Opoona on March 25th and Atari’s Alone in the Dark some time in the same month.

April will see shooter’s favourite Castle of Shikigami III from Aksys Games and Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer, whist Majesco’s Cooking Mama 2 arrives in June. Wii Fit will be released in Q2, whilst LucasArts duo Lego Indiana Jones and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are both dated for the spring.

DS highlights include Nintendo’s Advance Wars: Days of Ruin on January 21st, Level 5’s Professor Layton on February 10th, Capcom’s Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney on February 12th, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Altair’s Chronicles in February, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on March 11th, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer on March 11th and Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword on March 25th.

Q2 will see Nintendo Pokemon duo Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and D3P’s Dreamcast sequel Bangai-O Spirits.
