Nintendo names new sales & marketing VP

Nintendo of America has announced the appointment of Scott Moffit as its new executive VP of sales and marketing.

That’s the former job of current NoA president Reggia Fils-Aime. It was vacated last October following the departure of Cammie Dunaway.

Moffit joins from Henkei Consumer Goods where he served as senior VP and GM for its Personal Care division.

"Scott Moffitt makes a marvellous addition to the Nintendo team," Fils-Aime stated. "His expertise in driving growth will be a terrific asset as we build momentum for the Nintendo 3DS system and continue to reach new audiences for the Wii console."

Moffit added: "Nintendo is a brand unlike any other. I look forward to helping shape the company’s future for all kinds of players."
