Ubisoft has confirmed to MCV it will not be holding its usual press conference at Gamescom.
The French publisher is one of many that often holds an E3-style press conference at the Cologne-based show, but has this year decided to focus on its plans as an exhibitor.
Ubisoft will have a wide range of titles available to play on the show floor, no doubt including August releases Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Rayman Legends.
It's also safe to assume the publisher will be giving attendees the chance to go hands-on with its cross-generation titles, including Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
Capcom, another publisher that usually holds a Gamescom press conference, recently confirmed it would not be attending this year's show.
Gamescom 2013 will be held at Koelnmesse, Cologne from Wednesday, August 21st to Sunday, August 25th.
