Activision boasts some 2,200 staff, meaning that around 150 jobs will be cut.
“The reduced head count is to better align resources against our near-term needs in fiscal ’07 and our anticipated growth in ’08,” a spokesperson offered.

Reuters this morning revealed the news, which comes just a couple of weeks after Electronic Arts announced plans to make around five per cent of its staff redundant.
