One Direction fans try to out-hate Call of Duty fans on Twitter

There are many evils in this world and it’s safe to say patching Black Ops II and suggesting Harry Styles has a penis are definitely two of the worst.

Such is the conclusion one can draw from the Twitter reaction of both the Call of Duty and One Direction online communities.

Last week MCV reported that Call of Duty dev David Vonderhaar had received some quite astonishing abuse on Twitter after the release of a patch for Black Ops II that including three near-unperceivable alterations to some of the guns featured in the game’s multiplayer.

We could post a few of them here but, honestly, they’re just too grotesque to contemplate. This blog is somewhat braver and offers a selection of the more choice comments.

Be warned, though – reading it may sap you of your belief in humanity and will to live.

But don’t for one minute think that the scum of the earth are limited to Call of Duty players. It turns out that One Direction fans are a bunch of ******* ***** as well.

Fuse reports that GQ magazine has faced the wrath of the boy band’s hellish minions by daring to suggest that singer Harry Styles has a sex life on the cover of a recent issue.

Carrying the lines It’s definitely less than 100” and He’s up all night to get lucky”, the publication came in for some significant abuse from fans of the band who were seemingly unable to comprehend the idea that Styles is a functioning human being and not just a puppet that is couriered between TV shows.

Comments directed at the mag include:

I’M F*CKING PISSED AT HOW THEY PORTRATED YOU, YOU ARE NOT A GOD DAMN MAN WHORE, YOU ARE A CUPCAKE. JESUS.”

I’LL RIP YOUR INTESTINS OIT OF YOUR BODIES AND STRANGLE YOU WITH THEM DON’T ACT CUTE WITH ME GQ BETTER WATCH OUT YOU LIL S***S”

you messed with the wrong fandom you dicks how dare you hate on Louis? And also make harry look like a manwhore? Ill stab you all”

Seriously, One Direction fans – you’ve really got to step up your use of the c-word, racism and threats of sexual violence if you wish to dethrone the COD community from atop of its current excrement throne.

Or alternatively don’t and just behave like normal human beings online instead. Your choice.
