Following on from the recent rumours of redundancies at THQ, the company has confirmed 240 job losses.
The company has been having some hard times in recent months, and has now confirmed that the restructure it is currently undergoing will be largely completed by 31st March.
THQ currently employs around 1700 people, the current cuts having reduced the overall number of staff employed by the company by approximately 10%.
According to Kotaku, 14 of those employees were from the THQ office in Melbourne. Meanwhile, both Australian THQ development studios shut their doors last year.
