Peace Walker tipped for PS3

French site JVN is reporting that Konami’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is in line for a move to the PS3.

The site says it will appear in Sony’s recently announced PSP Remaster series, which will see PSP games get a high definition makeover and released on Blu-ray disc.

According to VG247‘s translation, the game will be announced at E3 next month. Capcom’s Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is the only game confirmed for the series so far.

Peace Walker was originally called Metal Gear Solid 5 and enjoyed a development budget akin to the home console releases in the series.
