Nintendo’s Play it on Wii range – based on several updated GameCube titles – is going to get more than a conversion to the new console, according to a report from Famitsu.
The Play It line-up, including titles like Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and Pikmin, is to be fine-tuned to the quirks of the Nintendo Wii, with content changes to the titles.
As well as an update for the games controls, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat will see more check points, repositioned enemies and new stages not seen in the games GameCube incarnation, effectively creating a new gaming experience for the title on the Wii.
Pikmin will also see a revision of the game’s control system, where gamers can point their Wii motes directly at Pikmin to locations.
