Playdead co-founder Dino Patti leaves the Inside and Limbo developer

The co-founder of indie studio Playdead Dino Patti has announced his departure from the company.

Games Industry reports that Patti has sold his existing shares in the firm to business partner Arnt Jensen.

It’s been amazing journey, where I’ve been lucky to work with some extremely talented people and partners," said Patti.

"I feel that I’m leaving the company in a state where it can definitely manage itself, and I wish best of luck to Arnt and the rest of the team in the future."

Patti has also tweeted about his departure (below), saying that he is now leaving to seek new challenges.

The exec has been with Playdead since its inception in 2008, and worked there through the launch of indie darling Limbo and the recently released Inside.

He helped found the company and was its CEO until the start of 2016. Since then he has held a business development role.
