Portal DLC hits Rocket League tomorrow

Portal-themed downloadable content is coming to car-football title Rocket League tomorrow (Tuesday, December 1st).

Developer Psyonix has said that this package will be free, and includes the likes of a cake hat (of course), as well as rocket trails based on the conversion, propulsion and repulsion gels from Portal 2.

This isn’t the first lot of pop culture-themed DLC to hit Psyonix’s football game. In October, players could download Back to the Future’s DeLorean to race in.

MCV spoke to Psyonix earlier this year, where the VP of marketing and communications Jeremy Dunham said that the firm had been in talks with a number of parties about collaborations for Rocket League.

This included future TV shows, films and merchandise.
