Post-GTA effect hits Take 2

Net revenues for the quarter ending October 31st 2005 were $308.2 million, down from the $438m for the same period the previous year. Also in decline was net income, dropping from the $62.6m of Q4 2004 to $19.2m in 2005.

Net income for fiscal year 2005 stood at $37.5m, compared with $65.4m for the prior year. However, net revenues for the full year increased six per cent to $1.20 billion from $1.13bn for the prior year.

The company also stated that it had relocated employees at the 2K Games, Global Star and Joytech North America offices in Manhattan, New York following a fire. The publisher expects no significant damage to its business as a result.
