Having hit hard times last month, Total Console Repair has been saved from the brink by Powerplay Direct.
Powerplay has officially acquired all of TCR’s assets including its name, infrastructure and website. It intends to use these new resources to expand upon its existing PC repair operations.
We are delighted to have an opportunity to obtain the assets of TCR, Powerplay’s marketing manager Shaun Mulvey stated.
It is our intention to retain the brand and return it to the pinnacle of the console service and, using close to 20 years experience dealing with the leading IT manufacturers, we are confident that we can invigorate a brand that unfortunately ceased trading due to factors beyond its control.”
Chief executive Colin Bassett added: We are always conscious of areas of our business we can improve and expand. The acquisition made total sense.
There is immense goodwill within the industry and consumers towards TCR. We are looking forward to working with customers of TCR, both past and present, whilst expanding our service portfolio of clients.”
