Pressure mounts on Atari

The un-audited financials that were released on June 14th indicated a Q4 net loss of $4.3 million and an annual loss of $67.1 million. However the firm has now announced adjusted data. The final audited results point to a higher quarterly loss of $6.2 million and a full year loss of $69 million.

Atari has taken a number of recent steps to improve its financial position – on May 10th it was announced that it had raised $13 million thanks to the sale of TimeShift and Stuntman. Following these latest figures the firm reiterated its commitment to improving financials by focussing on ‘community building’, established franchises, online gaming and portable titles.
