Robert Price is to leave Future Publishing, according to a video industry trade report.
According to Cue Entertainment, the CEO of the firm - responsible for a host of specialist magazines and websites - will soon become the UK MD of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
TCFHE is responsible for the UK roll out of Fox's films on DVD & Blu-ray.
The news was revealed by TCFHE SVP for Northern Europe and Asia Pacific, Steven Leighton.
Price has been at Future for over a decade.
He joined in 1998 and has filled a variety of roles including publishing director of entertainment, and UK MD, a role he took in 2004 before becoming chief exec for the UK.
Price has overseen a number of changes at Future - most recently the firm reshuffled its games team, which saw James Binns become head of Edge International and PC Gaming, while Simon Maxwell becomes new group publisher for console and online.
Future has confirmed Price's departure - but he will maintain his current responsibilities until his final day later in the the summer.
Future's group CEO Stevie Spring said: "Robert will leave Future with our very best wishes. He moves into an adjacent sector where his experience will be very valuable, and we look forward to working with him for many years to come. Until his departure, I'll spend more of my time working closely with him to manage our UK business to ensure it's business as usual."
