Professor Layton ships 11m

Developer Level-5 has announced that more than 11.4m Professor Layton games have been shipped worldwide.

This figure is formed from shipments of the four current Layton puzzle games on DS including Curious Village and The Lost Future, reports Andriasang.

The news comes ahead of the Japanese release of Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask which is a Nintendo 3DS launch title.

Level-5 will be holding a live web broadcast on February 24th to celebrate the game’s release on February 26th in Japan.

Discussions with Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino and the game’s voice cast will take place during the broadcast, while a general introduction to the game will also be presented to viewers.

The Layton games are published by Nintendo.
