PS Phone gameplay footage appears

The first video footage of games being played on Sony Ericsson’s still unannounced PlayStation Xperia smartphone have been posted online.

As spotted by The Sixth Axis, the film shows the unit booting ROMS of PSOne titles Biohazard 2 (the Japanese name for Resident Evil 2) and Rage Racer (Ridge Racer 3 in all but name).

What we don’t see, however, is any use of the twin touch analogue pads.

The Android-based device remains unannounced, though with new info hitting almost daily the only details we still lack are specifics on what PlayStation compatibility it will offer and when it will be launched.
