PS3 Command & Conquer on hold

Electronic Arts has confirmed that it has halted development of the PS3 version of Command & Conquer 3.

The title, which has just been voted Gamespot’s ‘one to watch’ at E3 this year, will now exclusively be released on PC and Xbox 360 in the autumn.

An EA spokesperson told Videogaming247:

We can confirm that the development of Red Alert 3 for PS3 has been put on hold. EA LA is focusing resources on development for PC and Xbox 360 which will ship simultaneously this autumn.”

Rumours of the SKU’s death first arose when Gamestop reportedly pulled it from its website last night.
